Game Nights are community activities that are created to help promote community activity and engagement between members, Unlike Social Nights, a Game Night requires a game to be played, along with active participation from all members within the voice channel.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 XGN members
  • Reduced to 3 for games with a lower cap, eg. Apex Legends
• Minimum duration of 45 minutes
• Maximum of 3 Social Nights hosted per day per member

Co-Hosting: There is no co-hosting for Game Nights. Only the host receives credit for the session.

Hosting a Game Night

1. Join the voice channel “Join to Create VC” within the XGN Discord.
2. The bot will automatically post an "Start an Activity" embed in the voice channel
3. Click the "Game Night" button
4. A prompt will appear saying “What game are you playing?”. Enter the game.
5. If all requirements are met, the bot will:
   • Rename the channel to [G] YourName's (Game) Game Night
   • Post a session embed listing current participants and a "Join Game Night" button
   • Wait until the minimum member count is reached before starting the timer
     • (Ensure all participants click on the Join Game Night button!)
   • Begin tracking the session once the threshold is met

The timer will not start automatically, it will begin once the minimum member count has joined the Game Night lobby!

Once completed the after 45 minutes and the attendance will be posted the respected Division’s attendance section
